Deceitful

Editor, Times-Union:
On Nov. 4 people of concern will go to the polling stations and cast ballots for their choice for people of elected office, and this is the proper procedure to follow.
But when a candidate is deceitful in their attempt to get elected it is not the proper procedure. I feel this is the case of Mr. Kolbe.
When he says or his committee says the right-to-life people endorsed him, they are referring to the democratic party version of the right-to-life people. The Christian version of right-to-life people do not endorse Mr. Kolbe. And there are other similar claims by him and his aides. Be careful and informed in your choice of a candidate. In any case, vote. This is what makes our democratic form of government work.
When it comes to debating Mr. Kolbe, I can understand why Mr. Nisly hesitates to debate him. When a person spouts half truth and lies, the person who is receiving the blunt of these type of charges can get very frustrated. Have you ever been the receiver of any false charges and do you remember how you felt? This is my opinion so vote as your conscience tells you.
