SYRACUSE - Deborah K. "Deb" Trowbridge, 56, of Syracuse, died at 4:29 a.m. May 26, 2009, in her residence.
She was born Sept. 26, 1952, in Marion, to Haskel D. and Bette Vernon Clements. On Oct. 18, 1975, in Fort Wayne, she married Gary W. Trowbridge, who survives.
She graduated from Huntington North High School in 1970, earned an LPN degree from Fort Wayne Community Schools Adult Education Program and attended St. Francis College, Fort Wayne. She was a homemaker and formerly worked as a nurse at Lutheran Hospital, Fort Wayne, for several years. She moved to the Syracuse area in 1998 from Topeka, Kan. She was a member of the Dewart Lake Association and was former president of the Lendonway Terrace Association.
Also surviving are two daughters, Nicole Trowbridge, Ravensdale, Wash., and Andrea (and spouse Devin) Waya, North Platte, Neb.; a granddaughter; and a sister, Linda (and spouse Robert) Bonewitz, Andrews. She was preceded in death by her parents and a sister.
Services will be at 10:30 a.m. Friday at Owen Family Funeral Home, Syracuse, with the Rev. Larry Rice officiating. Burial will be in Syracuse Cemetery.
Calling is from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home.
