PIERCETON - David L. Campbell, 54, of Pierceton, died at 8:05 p.m. April 28, 2010, in his daughter's residence.

He was born Nov. 23, 1955, in Garrett, to Ted and Mary L. Kelly Campbell.

After graduating from Columbia City High School, he attended Hobert Welding School in Ohio. He was owner and operator of Campbell Welding.

Surviving are three children, Nicole N. (and spouse Tony) Elder, Pierceton, and Terry W. and David A. Campbell, both of South Whitley; his father, Ted (and spouse Marlene) Campbell, Topeka; his mother, Mary L. Campbell, Columbia City; four grandchildren; and siblings: Dan (and spouse Cheryl) Campbell and Doug (and spouse Alice) Campbell, all of North Manchester; Deb (and spouse Steve) Schmitt, Columbia City; and Dawn (and spouse Craig) Kelley and Dorothy (and spouse Rick) Beurkel, both of Michigan.

Services will be at 11 a.m. Tuesday at McHatton-Sadler Funeral Chapel, Pierceton, with Chaplain Gerald Bills officiating. Burial will be in Hillcrest Cemetery, Pierceton.

Calling is from 4 to 7 p.m. today at the funeral home.
