SYRACUSE – David A. Sawesky Sr., 74, of Warsaw, passed away on May 4, 2019, at Kosciusko Community Hospital.
He was born on Feb. 28, 1945, in Dayton, Ohio, to Bob and Jean Weschke.
He was a veteran, having served honorably in the U.S. Navy.
On April 17, 1970, he married Charlene Martin, who survives.
He lived in Warsaw for 49 years, coming from Ohio. He retired in 2008 from Walmer Supply.
He is survived by his wife, Charlene Sawesky of Warsaw; son, David (Michael Pelphrey) Sawesky Jr. of Warsaw; his daughter, Mari (Kurt) Gunkel of Warsaw; and one granddaughter, Chloe Gunkel.
He was preceded by his stepson, Larry, and brother, Jim.
No services are scheduled.
