NORTH MANCHESTER – Stephen Danielian played a big part in Lakeland Christian Academy’s win at Manchester Tuesday. Danielian scored three goals and assisted on the other two, as the Cougars beat the host Squires 5-2 in boys soccer action. With the win, LCA improved to 4-9 on the season, while the Squires fell to 5-5-3. Danielian scored the Cougars’ first two goals and led them to a 3-0 lead at halftime. Noah Cole scored LCA’s third first-half goal. The Cougars took a 4-0 lead when Weston Clemons scored off a Danielian assist in the 54th minute of action. Colin McNeeley put Manchester on the board in the 65th minute on an assist from David Fahs-Brown. Danielian’s third goal made it 5-1 in the 67th minute, and Manchester’s Jon Rich rouned out the scoring in the 70th minute on an assist by McNeeley. Logan Pitts made 14 saves for the Cougars, while Manchester’s Rainer Borgmann made eight saves.
