Daniel J. Easterday, 40, formerly of Silver Lake, passed away at 10 a.m. Saturday, Jan. 27, 2018, in U.C. Davis hospital, Sacramento, Calif., after a courageous battle with cancer.
Daniel was born June 26, 1977, in Wabash, to Larry W. and Debbie Kline Easterday.
He attended Tippecanoe Valley High School. His favorite class was auto mechanics, which was taught by his mentor, “Chief” Rick Ralston, which led him to his lifetime passion of auto repair.
He is survived by his father, Larry W. Easterday, Wabash; his mother, Debbie (husband Lawrance) Flannery, Silver Lake; his companion, Harley Shuster; grandmothers, Annette Kline and Shirley Mullins; sisters: Michelle Vick, Sean Holt and Brandi Shepherd; brothers: Damien Flannery, Brian Titus and Nick Thieke; uncle, Alan (Linda) Easterday; aunt, Martha Easterday; uncles: Doug Kline, Skip (Vickey) Kline and Bill (Tina) Kline; aunts, Shirley (Bob) Sylvia and Bonnie Flannery; great-uncle, Jim (Marsha) Kline; and great-aunt, Carol Whittenberger.
He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Floyd and Evelyn Bone Easterday and John Kline.
Services were entrusted to All Faith Cremation, Sacramento.
