Cromwell Woman Dies In Motorcycle Crash On U.S. 30

A Cromwell woman was killed Sunday night after a motorcycle accident in Whitley County, according to a news release from the Indiana State Police.
Mari Miller, 43, was a passenger on a motorcycle headed west on U.S. 30, between CRs 500E and 600E, at about 10 p.m. Sunday
The motorcycle was driven by Michael Miller, 40, Cromwell, who police believe may have been trying to change lanes which were uneven due to roadwork, according to the release.
Mari Miller was thrown from the motorcycle, landed on the roadway and was struck by a passing vehicle. She was pronounced dead at the scene.
Michael was taken to Parkview hospital in Fort Wayne. State police did not immediately identify the driver of the vehicle that struck Mari Miller.
Whitley County Sheriff’s Department, Columbia City Police Department, Union Township and Parkview EMS responded to the scene.
