Again, the people of Kosciusko County are not considered. Big business rules or have they been duped also?
The nice additions on the north side of town now has a nice grocery, lumber yard, restaurants, movie house, school. Businesses helped with the direction of traffic that was a mess and helped design a way to alleviate traffic. Those businesses put in their efforts to help Warsaw, and now they want to detour the traffic that could be vital to them.
Someone please explain the reason for the expansion of the airport. Are we going to have bigger airplanes? More traffic? Is it cut and dried? Was that the plan all along? How long ago did the airport buy the property? Have they known for some time they would close the road? Did they wait until they got help with the traffic? Did those businesses know that when they moved here, that most of their traffic would be detoured?
Getting your children to school will take longer. You can circle around to 15 to new 30 to school, and the risk factor of flying planes over busy area businesses.
Poor judgement in my estimation. Has anyone thought about the lowering of the high wires? According to medical records, it shows that living near high wires causes cancer. If they lower the wires to 50 feet, isn't this not putting the homes near that area in jeopardy?
I'm all for prosperity, but this will bring new jobs to our area? We all know that we the people really have no say. Are we getting too big for our britches? I would like some answers.
