MUNCIE – Cora Faye Jeffers, 87, passed away Nov. 15, 2014, at Westminister Village, Muncie. She was born April 10, 1927, in Helenwood, Tenn., to Jasper Marion and Carrie Frances Mays Phillips. On June 5, 1948, she married Norman Jeffers, who preceded her in death. She was a member of the Grace Baptist Church. She loved spending time with her husband, loved being with family and reading. She is survived by her four children: Peggy (and spouse Bryan) Ciula; Norm, Steve (and spouse Vicki) and Scottie (and spouse Jenny) Jeffers; nine grandchildren; 14 great-grandchildren; several nieces and nephews. She also was preceded in death by her parents; two sisters, Hazel Slaven and Frances Phillips; and three brothers: Alonzo, Floyd and Glen Phillips. Services will be at 11 a.m. Wednesday at Elm Ridge Funeral Home, Muncie, with Pastor Rory Bond officiating. Burial is at Elm Ridge Memorial Park.
