A Warsaw man was arrested after police allege he displayed a knife in the lobby of the Kosciusko County Work Release Center.

Zachary Taylor, 27, of 4157 W. CR 200S, Warsaw, was charged with intimidation and public intoxication Sunday morning, according to a news release from the Kosciusko County Sheriff’s Department.

At approximately 5:30 a.m. Sunday, KCSD and Warsaw Police Department responded to the Kosciusko County Work Release Center to assist officers dealing with a male subject with a knife.

Police say Taylor had entered the Center in an intoxicated state and was removed from the lobby area. Taylor entered the lobby for a second time and displayed a knife to the staff while visibly agitated.

Taylor was taken into custody without further incident. He was booked into the Kosciusko County Jail, and initial bond was set at $400.
