Mr. Burchette, you are hilarious. It's about time we had some good comedy around here. With King Obama, Queen Pelosi and Court Jester Reid leading us into a full-blown depression, we need a good laugh.
Comparing a two-term mayor, first-term governor with the highest approval rating of any governor, to a junior senator of 123 days from the most corrupt political system in the country that surrounds himself with anti-American radicals is good stuff.
And tax problems. If she has any tax issues, she should be on the Obama administration. That seems to be a requirement. Tax cheats and thieves thrive. You say Bush ruined this country - wrong. This country is not ruined yet. But if we allow these liberal politicians (both sides) to continue down this path of socialism it soon will be ruined. They are shredding the constitution.
The government has no right running our banks or our private business. Do you really want them telling you what car you can or can't drive? How much you can earn and save or spend?
You mention $5 gas, that's what they want. Just last week they put another two million acres of our land off limits to any energy exploration. We can't use our own oil, coal or even cut wood. Ask yourself why. And what are we supposed to use? Four or five dollars a gallon in two years, wait and see. And that does not account for his cap and trade plan. Electricity alone will skyrocket.
Now the few working people get to pay the mortgages of people that never should have gotten loans in the first place. Not to mention the second and third mortgages for things like swimming pools, ATVs and Harleys.
Bush screwed up along with a lot of other politicians. But, in eight years, fighting two wars, he didn't spend half what Obama has in two months.
Keep up the good humor. Your kids and grandkids will need it. It's all they will have.
