NORTH WEBSTER — Colleen Lynn Murphy, 51, Pierceton, passed away at 10:35 a.m. Sunday, June 10, 2018, at her residence.
She was born Aug. 25, 1966, in Muncie, to Charles Jr. and Rebecca Vance Murphy.
She grew up in Muncie, attended Southside High School in Muncie and moved to Kosciusko County in 1986.
She was a lifetime homemaker and was married on July 3, 2010, in Oswego, to Charles E. “Charlie” Shepherd, who survives.
She was a former member of St. Lawrence Catholic Church, Muncie.
She is survived by her husband, Charlie Shepherd, Pierceton; mother, Rebecca Wilson, Leesburg; brother, Charles Patrick Murphy, Leesburg; six sisters: Tamara (Paul) Hadley, North Webster; Barbara (Roger) King, Parker City; Linda (Clint) Bryan, Muncie; Krista (Paul) Grove, Albany; Kelly (Scott) Covey, Fort Wayne; and Kathy Garringer, Yorktown; and several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her father; brother, Michael Murphy; stepfather, Phil Wilson; and nephew, Kyle King.
Memorial services will be at 1 p.m. Friday, June 15, at Owen Family Funeral Home, Ind. 13 and C.R. 500N, North Webster, with Pastor Dennis Judy officiating.
Private burial will take place at Hillcrest Cemetery, Pierceton.
