Clifford D. Wolf

Posted
Clifford D. Wolf went to rest in heaven at 4:45 a.m. Feb. 9, 2019.

He was born on May 26, 1938, to Ernest and Vivian Chubb Barth-Wolf. Clifford married the light of his world, Cleo Jean Estep, on Jan. 31, 1965.

Over the years Clifford worked at several recreational vehicle places in Elkhart, including Beeline and Barth Corp. before helping them move the business to Milford. He also worked for Leesburg Lumber and for his son at CDCI for many years as a drywall construction job supervisor.

Clifford was a jack-of-all-trades and there was not much that if he didn't know how to do it, he would surely figure it out. Clifford loved to spend time in his barn tinkering with whatever new project he had, from construction and mechanical work to refinishing furniture; but most of all he loved to help others, and always with a smile on his face.

Surviving Clifford are four children he was blessed with: Patricia (and Troy) Seay of Goshen, Renee (and Gregg) Walker of Indianapolis, Marcy (and Barry) Cannon of Cromwell and Clifford (and Lisa) Wolf II  of Milford. Also surviving are 12 grandchildren; 30 great-grandchildren; and three sisters: Betty VanScoik of Warsaw, Wilma Tobey of Fort Wayne and Louise Sponseller of Winona Lake.

Clifford was preceded in death by his loving wife, Cleo Jean Wolf; a daughter, Norma Jean Lanham Whetten; a sister, Lillian Brandenburg; four brothers: Bob Barth, Don Barth-Wolf, Wilbur Barth and Bill Barth; and his parents.

At the request of Clifford, there will be no funeral service as his wishes were to be cremated. The family will hold a private service at a later date.

Arrangements were entrusted to Heritage Funeral and Cremation Services, Warsaw.
