How many of you knew that, hidden in the stimulus bill passed last February, were provisions for health care reform?
In this bill, a committee of 15 members was created to regulate and mandate the kind of care that our physicians will be able to render to us, totally based on cost and age. Those of us who are older will be expected to accept our conditions based on age, rather than be treated. Our medical treatments will be electronically tracked by the federal government and our physicians will be told what treatment, if any, will be rendered. The goal is to guide doctor's decisions based upon guidelines set up by the government. The younger generation will initially benefit but, as they age, will also begin to suffer under this system.
When a person is only considered as a cost commodity, there will be many unneeded deaths. Call it euthanasia. This is the administration at work. This is their compassion for the American people. When Obama said the delivery of health care should not determined by someone's zest for life, he said it all. His intentions for the people of this country are very clear.
These are the people we have trusted to do the right thing on our behalf. And what did we get? A group of chronic liars who serve only themselves and their agenda.
We are fighting for our very lives here. We can't afford to keep sending those people who are so willing to do us harm back to Washington.
