City Workers

Editor, Times-Union:
I want to congratulate the city workers for all the work they do in our town.
This morning a city truck was in my neighborhood picking up remnants of the recent storm. As I left the neighborhood and went down Center Street, I saw four more trucks doing the same thing all within five minutes. A little while later, a firetruck left to go on a call.
My trash is picked up on time weekly. Street crews were working on streets and recently new sidewalks were put in on my route to volunteer at the hospital. I also think they do a great job at Central Park with our Christmas lights at holiday time. I always encourage people to go see them (I wish they were up a few days longer!) I know the police and fire departments are always ready to help with issues and I applaud them.
So, to all the city workers seen and unseen, kudos for all your hard work making Warsaw the wonderful town that it is.
