Christopher Joe Allen Sr., 59, Leesburg, went home to be with the Lord at 6:12 p.m. July 5, 2015, in his residence. He was born Jan. 10, 1956, in Warsaw, to Chris and Virginia Slone Allen. On Aug. 3, 1976, in Warsaw, he married Peggy Jo Crace, who survives. They were married for 38 years. He was a lifelong resident of Kosciusko County, and worked as a grinder for Dalton Foundry, Warsaw, retiring in 2008. He was a member of God’s Highway to Heaven Church, Warsaw. He enjoyed spending time with family, riding motorcycles, working on cars, reading the Bible, as well as playing guitar and singing. Also surviving are: two sons, William Music Jr., Warsaw, and Christopher (and spouse Sherri) Allen Jr., Silver Lake; his daughter, Melissa (and spouse Todd) Cornett, Warsaw; his adopted daughter, Sheena (and spouse Michael) Berry, Warsaw; his sister, Judy (and spouse Charles) Pennington, Warsaw; three brothers: John (and spouse Robin) Allen, Delphos, Ohio; Buck Slone, Warsaw; Harvey Allen, Pierceton; a son-in-law, Karl Pozorski, Warsaw; a daughter-in-law, Angela Music, Warsaw; his sister-in-law and her son, Tonya Allen and Josiah James Allen, Tennessee; seven grandchildren: William Music III and Kimberly Music, both of Warsaw; Christien and Michael Pozorski, both of Fort Wayne; Todd Cornett II and Brittny and Tiffny Cornett, all of Warsaw; one adopted grandchild, Trystyn Berry, Warsaw; and two great-grandchildren, Aunna and Hunter Stahl, Warsaw. He was preceded in death by his parents, two children and his brother, Henry J. Allen. Services will be at noon Thursday at God’s Highway to Heaven Church, Warsaw, with Pastor Bob Brown officiating.
