MARTINSVILLE – Christine A. Fultz, 67, Martinsville, passed from this life suddenly March 26, 2014, while on vacation in Georgia. She was born Jan. 30, 1947, in Warsaw, to Lonus and Virginia Wise, who preceded her in death. She graduated from Manchester College with a master’s degree in education and retired from teaching with Peru Community Schools in 2009. She enjoyed traveling, playing music with the Martinsville Community Band and First United Methodist Church, volunteering, gardening and spending time with her grandchildren. She is survived by her two siblings, Mike Wise, Rochester, and Nedra (and spouse Dale) Wilcoxson, Pierceton; two sons, Brent and Brian Fultz and their spouses; and three grandchildren: Austin, Andrew and Carter Fultz. Per her wishes, no funeral service will be held, including any plant or flower arrangements. A service celebrating her life will be at 1 p.m. Saturday at the Martinsville First United Methodist Church, 3150 Myra Lane, Martinsville. ***** Memorials to the Martinsville Community Band by contacting Mr. Jim Reed at 765-349-6035.
