Charles D. “Dwayne” Jarvis, 53, Warsaw, passed away at 5:02 p.m. Monday April 16, 2018, in Lutheran Hospital, Fort Wayne.

He was born June 18, 1964, to Charles E. and Betty J. Hughes Jarvis in Warsaw.

He graduated from Warsaw Community High School and was a lifetime resident of Warsaw.

On June 22, 2012, he married Cathrine Meade in Warsaw.

He served as president of a local gun club for five years. He loved racing, fishing and other sports. He worked for Zimmer Biomet. He was a fiber metal machinist.

Dwayne is survived by his wife, Cathrine Jarvis, Warsaw; his mother, Betty J. (Lowel) Collins, Winona Lake; his father, Charles E. (Leslie) Jarvis, Green Valley, Ariz.; a son, Erik (Tiara) Jarvis, Pierceton; a daughter, Alisha Jarvis; a sister, Paula (Todd) Haines, Milford; stepchildren: Shiloh, Cody and Dillon King, all of Pierceton; nephews, Ryan (Shea) Smythe, Syracuse, and Eric Haines; and a niece, Heidi Haines.

A memorial service will be at 2 p.m. Saturday, April 21, in McHatton-Sadler Funeral Chapel, Warsaw, with the Rev. Glen Hughes officiating.

Calling will be from noon to the 2 p.m. service Saturday in the funeral chapel.

Interment will be at a later date.
