NORTH MANCHESTER – Chandis Boomershine, 81, North Manchester, died Sunday, Oct. 18, 2026, at 9:13 a.m. at Peabody.
He was born Oct. 3, 1945, in Florence, S.C., to Paul E. and Delores L. Grabner Boomershine. He married Donna Latour on Dec. 4, 1971.
He served his country in the U.S. Navy during the Vietnam War aboard the USS Enterprise CVAN 65.
Family and friends may call Sunday, Oct. 25 from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. at McKee Mortuary, North Manchester. Funeral services will begin at the conclusion of calling with Pastor Ron Burns officiating. Burial will be held at Oaklawn Cemetery, North Manchester.
Memorial contributions may be made to the Shriners Children’s Hospital.
The family of Chandis Boomershine has entrusted McKee Mortuary with care and final arrangements.
