We have good candidates for judge this year. I am writing in support of Chad Miner for judge of Superior Court 3.
Chad Miner has the experience required to easily transition into office, having served as Judge Pro Tem many times when Judge Sutton was not available. He is also logical, dispassionate, analytical, calm and patient. These are great attributes for a judge.
Superior Court 3 includes: small claims, where many people do not have an attorney; all traffic-related felonies; and various other felonies.
To deal with the types of cases that come before that court, it is best to have a calm and logical person like Chad Miner making decisions.
In addition, I know that Chad Miner will treat everyone, regardless of their education or status, with respect and calm patience.
As I watched the 2014 race for Superior Court 1, I ended up voting for Judge Cates. But I felt strongly at that time, and ever since, that Chad Miner would one day make a great judge. His time is now.
