Cesare Vitale, 73, Warsaw, passed away at 9:37 p.m. Thursday, Feb. 22, 2018, at Parkview Regional Medical Center, Fort Wayne.

He was born Aug. 22, 1944, to Frank and Theresa Altimare Vitale in Chicago, Ill.

He was a driver for Elisabeth Ludeman Center in Park Forest, Ill., for 12 years.

He was a member of Sacred Heart Catholic Church, Warsaw.

Cesare is survived by his daughter, Tracy (Rick) Speigle, Warsaw; a son, Tony Vitale, Arlington Heights, Ill.; two sisters, Florence Vitale, Carpentersville, Ill., and Antoinette (Tom) Rottman, Hoffman Estates, Ill.; three grandchildren: Justin (Cheyeanna) Hanson, Quantico, Calif.; Megan (Andrew) Carroll, Brownsburg; and Nels Hanson, Carlsbad, Calif.; and two great-grandchildren, Sloan Francis Hanson and Adeline Margaret Carroll.

He was preceded in death by his parents.

Visitation will be from 4 to 8 p.m. today, Feb. 26, with a rosary at 7:30 p.m., at McHatton-Sadler Funeral Chapel, Warsaw.

A funeral service of Christian burial will be at 10 a.m. Tuesday, Feb. 27, at the funeral chapel, with Father Matthias Alonyeno officiating. Interment will be in Oakwood Cemetery, Warsaw.
