Editor, Times-Union:
As a longtime resident, business owner and Kosciusko County Councilwoman, I am familiar with our area’s challenges and will fight for frugal, local control.
School funding and safety, along with job skills training are among the issues the legislature needs to address.
Being pro-business I will advocate strategic planing and funding of our roads and bridges – something my opponent has voted against multiple times.
I am pro-life and stand strongly with the Indiana Right to Life, and Right to Life (Warsaw). My opponent has been in office almost four years, he and his bill (HB1097) are not endorsed by Indiana Right to Life or other pro-life legislators.
As a lifetime member of the National Rifle Association, I support the Constitution and the Second Amendment. My opponent stands with the radical National Association for Gun Rights, who want to remove gun background checks on personal carry.
I do not agree and believe we need to do everything we can to keep our communities and schools safe.
As a Republican, I strongly support local government control and fewer government regulations.
I am very thankful we live in America where we have the right to vote.
