Candidate

Editor, Times-Union:
Hi. I am the beer and potato chip candidate for congress
in the third district. When I turn on the TV I see the
Cocktail and Caviar candidates spending a lot of money
calling each other very nasty names but as the old TV ad
used to say "Where's the beef?" Then another candidate
pipes up about how they shouldn't do that but he has no
beef either.
How about the issues? If you have lots of money to
spend on a campaign where are you getting it? Where do
they always get most of it? From corporation PAC committee's
and other special interest groups. Almost no
working class money, so who do you think they will listen
to after they win. They go in sort of wealthy and retire rich.
My issues: Illegal aliens taking jobs and hospital beds
and raising the crime rate. National Chamber of
Commerce, through the corporations, pouring money into
political races to pervert the process. Don't forget the fact
that the National Chamber Of Commerce were the NAFTA
pushers and biggest proponent of shipping out the jobs.
You never hear a candidate say raise the tariffs ,or use the
Sherman anti trust laws against criminal corporations,no
troops at the border. Let's send them to die for that big gas
pipeline in Afghanistan or 91 percent of the world's heroin.
Just business as usual.
I am your real protest vote. I am your none of the above
vote. Oh yes, and If I won I wouldn't sit in that den of
thieves at La Cesspool Grande for all the tea in China. But
we can have a lot of fun for a change. You haven't done so
hot playing the Republicrat game. Vote Independent. Write
in Tom Metzger on the general election ballot in November.
