Bradley "Brad" A. Hemmer, 44, of 10931 S. CR 200W, Silver Lake, died of complications of brain cancer at 9:59 p.m. June 20, 2011, in Lutheran Hospital, Fort Wayne.
He was born Aug. 17, 1966, in Warsaw, to Larry and Carolyn Baker Hemmer, who preceded him in death. On Oct. 13, 1999, he married Emily M. Burris, who survives.
A lifetime Kosciusko County resident, he attended Warsaw Community Church and was a volunteer firefighter with the Silver Lake Fire Department. He worked for the past 10 years at Lake City Bank, Warsaw, in the IT department as the technology officer-network engineer.
Also surviving are two sons, Camden and Landon Hemmer, both of Silver Lake; a sister, Tammy Smith, Albion; and a brother, Steve Hemmer, Warsaw.
Services will be at 10 a.m. Saturday at Redpath-Fruth Funeral Home, 225 Argonne Road, Warsaw, officiated by Pastor Bryan Koorey. A graveside service will be at Oakwood Cemetery, Warsaw.
Calling is from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Friday at the funeral home.
