SYRACUSE – Bonnie Johnson, 84, Syracuse, passed away Sept. 22, 2015, at Greencroft of Goshen. She was born Aug. 27, 1931, in Crown Point, to Walter and Hazel Benner Graff. On June 18, 1949, she married Donald Johnson, who preceded her in death in 1995. She was a member of the Grace Bible Baptist Church. Survivors include: two daughters, Kathleen (and spouse Donald) Whitaker, Syracuse, and Shirley (and spouse David) Flora, Goshen; three sons: Don (and spouse Barbara) Johnson, Goshen; David (and spouse Lori) Johnson, Union, Mich.; Lowell (and spouse Sharon) Johnson, Topeka; 12 grandchildren; 18 great-grandchildren; and two sisters, Miriam Orten and Delores Wheeler. She also was preceded in death by eight brothers and four sisters. Services will be at 11 a.m. Saturday at Eastlund Funeral Home, Syracuse, with Pastor Mike Gross officiating.
