Billy 'Bill' Ray Weirick

BOURBON – Billy “Bill” Ray Weirick, 62, Tippecanoe, passed away at 5:30 a.m. Feb. 26, 2014, at his residence with his family at his side.
He was born Jan. 15, 1952, in Plymouth, to Eugene and Betty Mullins Weirick. On Oct. 12, 1991, in Tippecanoe, he married Linda Schulze, who survives.
He had been a lifelong resident of the area. He was an owner/operator truck driver of Bill-Lin Trucking. In his spare time he loved being outside, bird watching, wildlife and timber cutting in the woods. He was a member of the Bourbon American Legion Post #424, Sons of the Legion and he graduated from Triton High School with the class of 1970.
Caring for him was his wife. Also surviving are three children: Jason and Judd Weirick, both of Cromwell; and Tyler (and spouse Holly) Lozier, Tippecanoe; his mother, Betty Weirick, Crystal Lake; and a brother, Robert (and spouse Ann) Weirick, Tippecanoe. He was also blessed with four grandchildren: Jeremy and James Weirick and Mile and Bentley Lozier. He was preceded in death by his father, his daughter, Billie Rae Weirick, and his brother, Barry Weirick.
Services will be a 6 p.m. Monday at Deaton-Clemens Funeral Home, 115 S. Main St., Bourbon, with the Rev. Stormy Scherer-Berry of Bourbon First United Methodist Church officiating.
Calling is from 5 to 6 p.m Monday at the funeral home.
