Bicentennial Photography Exhibit Invites Public Submissions

Posted
The Visual Arts Committee of Wagon Wheel Center for the Arts is inviting photography submissions from participants of all ages for its upcoming exhibit titled “Looking Outward: Look Up, Look Out, and Look Around.”
The exhibit will display photos of “real life” in Kosciusko County in celebration of Indiana’s bicentennial. According to Visual Arts Director Julie Parke, the exhibit will capture the “beauty and glory, the grit and hard working people of our wonderful county during the month of October 2016.”
Submissions may be sent to info@wagonwheelcenter.org until Oct. 28. They should include the photographer’s name and device, as well as the photo’s subject and date (photos must have been taken between Oct. 1 and Oct. 28).
Photos also should be submitted in a high resolution (300 pixels per inch is recommended by the organization), so that 11x14 inch prints may be displayed.
According to the Wagon Wheel’s usage agreement for the exhibit, participants agree to allow Wagon Wheel Center for the Arts unrestricted use of the images, although full credit to the photographer will be given in all instances. Submissions may be used in fundraising efforts of the visual arts program.
