Beverly J. Brown

AKRON – Beverly J. Brown, 60, of 600 W. 9th St., Rochester, and formerly of Athens, Ind., died Sept. 27, 2012, in the residence of her companion, Fred Oden Sr., Tiosa. She was born March 24, 1952, in Fulton County, to Raymond and Dorothy McCarter Brown. She was formerly married to Thomas Zeiger. She formerly worked for several years at both the Rochester Sentinel and the Shopping Guide News. She was a 1970 Akron High School graduate. Also surviving are three daughters, Rachel (and spouse Jasper) Midkiff, and Martha (and spouse Robert) Artist, all of Rochester, and Melanie Zeiger (and companion Scott Moody), Warsaw; and three grandchildren. Services will be at 11 a.m. Tuesday at Hartzler Funeral Home, Akron, with the Rev. Junior Bose officiating. Burial will be in Plainview Cemetery, Macy.
