Betty J Krieg, 89, of Grace Village, Winona Lake, passed away at 4:05 p.m. April 8, 2011, in Kosciusko Community Hospital, Warsaw.
She was born Jan. 9, 1922, in Fulton County, Henry Township, to Hollis and Emma Richter Heeter. On June 4, 1938, in Winamac, she married Phillip M. Krieg, who died July 5, 1997.
Formally of Rochester and Akron, she was a  homemaker and worked at Hart Schaffner Marx, Rochester,  for 24 years. She attended Church Of God, Rochester.
Surviving are a son, Larry (and spouse Arlene) Krieg, Bluffton, S.C.; two grandchildren, Mary Karen (and spouse Todd) Johnson, Avon, and Daniel (and spouse Michelle) Krieg, Bay Village, Ohio; two great-grandsons; and two great-granddaughters.
Burial will be private at Mt. Hope Athens Cemetery.
McHatton-Sadler Funeral Chapel, 2290 Provident Court, Warsaw, is in charge of arrangements.
