NORTH MANCHESTER — Betty J. Gaerte, 94, North Manchester, died at 3:59 a.m. Tuesday, Aug. 28, 2018, in Parkview Huntington Hospital.
She was born Sept. 14, 1923, in Wabash, to Ernest and Lora Alberson Kilander. She was married to Herbert Gaerte on April 9, 1941. He died Feb. 21, 2002.
She was a member of Congregational Christian Church, North Manchester.
The funeral will be at 10:30 a.m. Saturday, Sept. 1, with calling one hour prior, at McKee Mortuary, 1401 Ind. 114W, North Manchester. Burial will be in Oaklawn Cemetery, North Manchester.
Calling is also from 4 to 8 p.m. Friday, Aug. 31, at the mortuary.
