Bessie Mae Waite
Bessie Mae Waite, 95, of Warsaw, passed away at 6:35 a.m. April 10, 2011, in her daughter’s residence.
She was born Nov. 1, 1915, in Akron, to Clarence and Tressie Kroft Moore.
She was a native of Middlebury and the Warsaw area. She worked as a licensed practical nurse and was a homemaker.
Surviving are a daughter, Roberta (and spouse Bob) Gregory, Warsaw; two sons, Richard (and spouse Patricia) Warren, Libertyville, Ill., and Bruce (and spouse Edie) Waite, Iowa; a daughter-in-law, Karen Waite, Minnesota; 10 grandchildren; 13 great-grandchildren; and four great-great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband; a son, Wayne; four sisters; and three brothers.
Services will be at 11 a.m. Wednesday at New Life Christian Church & World Outreach, Warsaw, with Pastors John B. Lowell II and Jamy Gregory officiating. Burial will be in Grace Lawn Cemetery, Middlebury.
Calling is one hour prior to the service Wednesday at the church.
McHatton-Sadler Funeral Chapel, 2290 Provident Court, Warsaw, is in charge of arrangements.
