I would like to invite everyone to a benefit for my brother, Chris Allen, who is in kidney failure and needs some dental work before other procedures.
We are having a singing benefit with food and a bake sale, with proceeds going to help Chris and his wife Peggy with medical expenses. The benefit will be May 25 at 7 p.m. at God's Highway to Heaven Church off North Park Avenue, Warsaw.
Any donations can mailed to Judy Pennington, Chris Allen Fund, P.O. Box 574, Warsaw, IN 46581, or dropped to Judy at Dollar General by Kmart.
We also need baked goods for the sale. They can be dropped to Judy at Dollar General, or call Judy for pickup at 574-267-4061 or 377-0288, or Pam at 574-267-6519. We need any baked goods dropped off by 2 p.m. Friday, or can be brought to the church also.
Also, anyone wanting to sing, let us know. Let's come together one more time to help another one in our community. Give and it shall be given.
