Barbara Rose Nine, 82, died at 2:54 a.m. July 9, 2011, in Kosciusko Community Hospital, Warsaw.
She was born Sept. 15, 1928, in Bourbon, to Gordon and Mabel Coppes Davis. On July 8, 1944, in South Bend, she married Charles Nine, who died Jan. 28, 1979.
Living in Warsaw most of her life, she was a clerk at Video Movie Rental and worked at the coffee bar at Owen’s Supermarket, Center Street. She was a member of American Legion Auxiliary Post 49, Eagles Lodge Auxiliary 1339 and Moose Lodge Auxiliary.
Surviving are a daughter, Vickie Wallen, Warsaw; a brother, David Allen Davis, Napa, Calif.; six grandchildren; 15 great-grandchildren; and four great-great-grandchildren. She also was preceded in death by a daughter, Karen Yoder, who died Feb. 11, 1983; her father, Gordon Davis, who died Sept. 4, 1986; her mother, Mabel Davis, who died Feb. 19, 1990; and a sister, Louise Manuel, who died April 6, 2009.
Services will be at 10 a.m. Tuesday at Titus Funeral Home, Warsaw, officiated by Pastor Jack Worth of Dutchtown Brethren Church, Warsaw. Burial will be in Oakwood Cemetery, Warsaw.
