B For Benyousky As Trustee

Posted
Editor, Times-Union:

Shari Benyousky has campaigned visibly and vigorously across Warsaw to meet and get input from Wayne Township constituents and the greater Warsaw community about their hopes, dreams, needs and visions. She is serious about taking all issues and all people seriously. Shari is the real deal.

But how do I know Shari is the real deal? We met in 1997 when I was a 40-year-old college student at IPFW Warsaw. She was my English professor for two semesters, once with her 18-month-old son in tow because she had no baby sitter that day. He happily became her teaching assistant, handing out pencils and smiles. Shari has lived and taught in our community for over 20 years, and is still raising the youngest of her three children in the Warsaw school system. Her commitment to community engagement across every venue and genre imaginable is undeniable. Her ability to see people over politics is top-notch. And though we first met as a teacher and her student, we became friends with many similar passions and interests. I became a volunteer on her campaign because I know and wholeheartedly believe in Shari Benyousky.

Shari Benyousky is the best candidate for Wayne Township trustee. You can meet Shari and her advisory board candidates — Jim Falkiner, Lori Roe and Laura Deal-Decker — at the Chamber of Commerce from 7 to 8:30 p.m. Monday, Oct. 29.

Vote B for Benyousky on Tuesday, Nov. 6.
