MISSION, Texas – Arlene M. Casner, 80, Mentone and Mission, Texas, passed away peacefully in her sleep Jan. 2, 2015, at her winter residence in Mission. She was born in Chicago, Ill., May 5, 1934. She was married to George Dale Casner, who preceded her in death. She loved to garden and quilt, and was a loving grandmother. She is survived by her three children: Randy (and spouse Julie), Teri (and spouse Warren) and Holly (and spouse Rob); and five grandchildren: Calvin, Grant, Anna, Faith and Jason; and her long-time partner, Mike Yazel. Services will be at a later date. Elizondo Mortuary & Cremation Service, Mission, is in charge of arrangements.
