Aric J. Ramsey, 28, of 85 W. Levi Lee Road, Warsaw, died at 8:15 p.m. Dec. 12, 2007, in Methodist Hospital, Indianapolis.
He was born Sept. 7, 1979, in Columbia City, to Howard Ramsey and Monica Daugherty, who survive.
A lifetime Warsaw resident, he was a member of Hope Lutheran Church, Columbia City, and played pool in the Northern Hoosier Pool League. He was the third double lung and pancreas recipient in the nation.
Also surviving are a brother, Adam Ramsey; a sister, Amanda Ramsey; a grandmother, Doris Ramsey; a grandfather, Thomas Bumgardner; and fiance, Shelby Fulk. He was preceded in death by a brother, Andrew Ramsey, who died in 1999.
Services will be at 11 a.m. Monday at McHatton-Sadler Funeral Chapel, Warsaw, with Pastor Judy Follis officiating. Burial will be in Oakwood Cemetery, Warsaw.
Calling is from 2 to 6 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home.
