Halloween fun kicks off tonight with the annual Spooktacular in downtown Warsaw, and continues through Monday with trick-or-treating hours set for each community. Spooktacular is from 5:30 to 8 p.m. today. Registration for the costume contest is 5:30 to 6 p.m., with the contest at 7 p.m. Categories are infant to 1 year old; 2 to 3 years old; 4 to 6 years old; 7 to 9 years old; 10 to 12 years old; and group, any age. Trick-or-treating at downtown businesses will be from 6 to 7 p.m. Grace College will offer its annual Fun Fest event from 6 to 9 p.m. today at the Gordon Recreation Center, 100 Publishers Drive, Winona Lake. It is free and open to the public. In North Manchester, the Parks and Recreation Department will host the Great Pumpkin Hunt this evening at Waverly Park. A magic show begins at 6:30 p.m. at Scout Hall, and at 7 p.m. there will be a costume contest. The pumpkin hunt begins at 7:15 p.m. Children 3-8 are welcome to enjoy the festivities. The firemen’s costume contest is at 5:30 p.m. at the fire station, 204 W.
