I am writing this letter in support of Indiana State Trooper Kyle Dukes, whom I have known for 12 years. It is my opinion Kyle would be a great sheriff for the people of Kosciusko County.
Kyle has been a great help in our community, slowing down traffic on our busy county roads as we have a great concern for our children riding their bicycles to and from school. Kyle has also been to a lot of our Amish schools speaking and educating our children concerning bicycle safety, talking to strangers, finding a meth lab, and the dangers of drugs and alcohol.
The community has greatly appreciated the support, time and work Kyle has given us here in northern Kosciusko County during the last 12 years. We want to say thank-you for helping us in the time of need.
We also want to thank God that we still have law enforcement officers who want to uphold the laws of the land and for risking their lives to help us and also for being honest and upright in their lives.
