WINONA LAKE – Anne C. “Nancy” Devitt, 82, Warsaw, and formerly of Hammond and Demotte, passed away Nov. 4, 2014, at home surrounded by her family. She was born Jan. 24, 1932, in Chicago, Ill., to Lester C. and Ann C. Talcott. She was married to her loving husband of 40 years, Ross E. Devitt, who preceded her in death Dec. 17, 2011. She was a lifelong Catholic and member of Sacred Heart Catholic Church. She was also a member of the North Webster American Legion Post 253. She loved the casino, karaoke parties, cooking, entertaining and gatherings with friends and family. She was one of a kind. Surviving are her three daughters: Karen (and spouse William) Kann, Leesburg; Linda (and spouse Roger) Thibault, Palm Coast, Fla.; Terry (and spouse Mike) Powers, Winona Lake; two sons, Bryon (and spouse Julie) Anderson, Hebron, and Glen (and spouse Sue) Anderson, Demotte; a stepson, Patrick (and spouse Hazel) Devitt, Ohio; eight grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; many nieces, nephews and cousins. She was preceded in death by her sister, Colette “Bette” (and spouse Bruce) Frederick; and a brother, Lester (and spouse Grace) Talcott. Cremation will take place and a private family service will be held. Elkhart Cremation has been entrusted with the arrangements. ***** Memorials to Hospice of Kosciusko County.
