Amos Hunt, 71, of Mount Sterling, Ky., formerly of Indiana, died March 16, 2008, in his residence.
He was born to William and Maudie Hunt. He married Betty Salyer, who preceded him in death.
Surviving are four sons, J.B. Hunt, Mount Sterling, and Jamie, Billy and Jesse Hunt, all of Warsaw; five daughters: Sandy Kent and Sheila Kubley, both of Warsaw; Nancy Lemaster, Prestonsburg, Ky.; Tina Hall, Claypool; and Tanesha Hunt, Fort Wayne; three brothers: Randall Hunt, Ohio; Andrew Hunt, Mount Sterling; and Redwine Sammons, Prestonsburg, Ky.; and several grandchildren and great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by a daughter.
Services will be Friday at Magoffin County Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will be in the Conley Cemetery, Salyersville, Ky.
