Editor, Times-Union: Regardless of what is going on in my personal life, God help me, I must speak. We have all enjoyed living in a country that has offered the greatest economic, and religious freedom in the world. Our president’s economic policies have downgraded us to eighth or ninth place in the world.
Our embassies overseas have been attacked by terrorists. Our ambassador was tortured, sodomized and killed. Other Americans were killed and the president won’t call it a terrorist attack. Instead he went on Letterman and “The View” as “eye candy.” At the UN he blamed a video for the attacks, and the filmmaker was arrested, signaling Islamic extremists around the world that they can attack and kill Americans without consequence.
If this Muslim brotherhood-supporting president is re-elected, people who have warned us and spoken out against him probably won’t survive. Sharia law will give women less rights than a dog, westernized daughters get killed, honorably of course! Christians who refuse to convert to Islam are imprisoned or maybe you can opt to have your head chopped off slowly. I think it will mark the end of every freedom we have known, and elections. I see massive unprovoked, unpunished attacks on the USA as according to Islamic extremists we are the “great satan” and must be destroyed. As for the “little satan,” Israel? Boom! Our oil reserves, land and economic opportunities get handed over to our debtors or whoever takes them.
Can we run and hide? Move? There’s no place left. Our great country is it. What can we do? Vote! Did you know that 37 percent of conservative Christians don’t vote!? Understand that the plan is to get us so discouraged by stacked poles and misinformation that we won’t vote! Everyone on the side of our freedom that does not vote may as well be a vote for the current disaster. I understand the loyalty to Ron Paul now out of the running, but voting for him to prove a point is like a vote for you know who. This is the most important vote of our lifetime and will affect our loved ones for generations. Please vote, unless I can talk you out of voting for a devil, not naming names.
I’ll tell you something else we can do. I’ve noticed several people referring to 2 Chronicles and it is key. “If My people, who are called by My name will humble themselves before Me and pray, and seek My face and repent of their sins, then I will hear from heaven and will forgive their sins and heal their land.” What strikes me is God speaks of His people, not the entire population. Our part isn’t that hard, and He cannot lie. He’s not wishy washy like we are, God keeps his promises.
Please heed the warnings. We cannot kick God out of our lives and land and expect him to continue to bless, save and prosper us. Pray and vote! God bless us all!
