Editor, Times-Union: I’m Pastor Ronnie L. Patrick, founding pastor of New Beginnings Church and World Outreach. I need to continue to cry out, to try and shine some light into this dark world. Several years ago, I heard our President Barack Obama say that America was not a Christian nation and this statement bothered me. But not so today, because I’ve come to understand that America is no longer a Christian nation. Now we have a lot of people that say they are Christian, but their actions says different. Would a Christian nation break God’s commandment by murdering people? Yet we do by the millions, by abortion. I’m sure Hitler would have been right at home in America, he loved to murder Jews and we love to murder babies. What God calls an abomination, we call an alternative lifestyle. What God says is marriage, between one man and one woman, we are changing state by state to same-sex marriage. Our nation is falling into more wickedness as we turn further away from God and his word. I fell sorry for our children and their children. May God have mercy on us.
