Alfredo DiRicoAlfredo DiRico, age 81, of Warsaw, Ind., passed away on Friday, May 24, 2019, at 8:20 a.m. in Warsaw. He was born in Orsogna, Italy, Aug. 17, 1937, to Pasquale and Maddalena D’Angelo DiRico. He is survived by his wife, Giovanna, of 60 years.
Alfredo immigrated from Italy to Boston in 1958 and has been a resident in Warsaw since 1978. He was the owner/founder of Center Motor Sales from 1978 to 2011. He was a member of the Sacred Heart Catholic Church, Warsaw.
In addition to his wife, Giovanna, Alfredo is survived by his children, Frank (Donna) DiRico of Warsaw, Fred (Sherri) DiRico of Warsaw, John (Elaine) DiRico of Warsaw; daughter, Madeline (Roger) Burkholder of Warsaw; daughter-in-law, Alejandra DiRico of Clarksburg, Md.; grandchildren, Blake, Callie, Joey, Carissa, Tony, Gabriel, Nicholas and Daniel DiRico, and Anthony, Gianna and Sophia Burkholder; and two great-grandchildren, Bella and Lincoln.
He was preceded in death by son, Patrick DiRico; two brothers and one sister.
Visitation is scheduled from 4 to 8 p.m. Thursday, May 30 in McHatton-Sadler Funeral Chapel, Warsaw. A Rosary service will be held at 7:30 p.m. on Thursday at McHatton-Sadler Funeral Chapel.
A Mass of Christian burial will be held on Friday, May 31 at 10 a.m. in Sacred Heart Catholic Church, Warsaw, with Father Jonathan Norton officiating.
Interment will be in Oakwood Cemetery, Warsaw.
