SYRACUSE – Alara Mae Williams, 5, Syracuse, passed away at 11:45 a.m. Jan. 3, 2016, at her home. She was born Dec. 13, 2010, in Indianapolis, to Daniel Scott Williams and Jessica Ann Hites. She was a lifetime Syracuse area resident and attended North Webster Elementary School. Surviving are her mother, Jessica Hites, Syracuse; her father, Daniel Williams, Warsaw; five siblings: Parker, Zandra, Kira, Levi and Ally; maternal grandparents, Vicki (and spouse David) Morrissette, Geneva, Ohio, and Charles (and spouse Carol) Hites, Goshen; paternal grandfather, Ron Strange, Lafayette; and one maternal step grandmother, Kris Ressler, Columbia City. Services will be at 2 p.m. Friday at Owen Family Funeral Home, Syracuse. Burial will take place at the Hillcrest Cemetery, Pierceton.
