In comment to William Michael Kelly's letter: There still exists Christians who refuse to get involved with politics. Because of their lack of involvement, over 1,500,000 children are murdered every year. Their blood lies on the hands of those that follow Christ because we did not stand up when we were supposed to and to keep our garden.
There are only two countries in the history of the world that has the God of the Bible as its head. God chose Israel and the United States chose God. We have received many blessings because of this choice, but there is only so much that God will put up with before we lose those blessings.
Our government and laws were established by Christians on Christian principles founded upon the Bible. We were not established as a theocracy but as a democracy based upon the God of the Bible. So, regardless of who is in the leadership of our government, we have a say in how our country is to be led.
If you refuse to participate in the democratic process through voting, then you have no right to complain how the country is being led. God will give us who we ask for.
Not voting against abortion, or those who would eliminate it, is just the same as voting for abortion. The same goes for homosexual marriage, taxes, boarders, cloning, stem-cell research, death penalty, you name it. If you don't participate in a simple thing as voting to help guide how our country is being directed, what will you tell God when you stand before Him in judgment when He asks you "What did you do" to protect the unborn? What will be your excuse?
If all you had to do to save your life was to get off your lazy-boy and go vote, would you do it? Why won't you vote to save the lives of 1,500,000 children?
Sure, others of you scream bloody murder about the 3,800+ soldiers that have lost their lives in the Iraq war in the past four years, but that is only one day in America in abortions. During the four years we have been at war, over 6 million children in our back yard have been murdered.
I'm tired of hearing about the injustice of this war when it doesn't even scratch the surface compared to abortion. Talk about straining at a gnat while swallowing a camel! We have murdered more children through abortion than soldiers that have been lost in all of our wars combined.
If you won't vote to protect your rights, won't you please vote to protect the unborn? Hold yourself accountable and do something.
God bless our soldiers, and God rescue our unborn!
