The following people were preliminarily charged and booked into the Kosciusko County Jail:

• 10:17 a.m. Tuesday – Charles David Shepherd, 48, of 214 E. High St., Atwood, arrested for possession of meth. No bond set.

• 8:40 p.m. Tuesday – Ricardo Cacahua Ahuatl, 20, of 1692 E. CR 200N, #205, Warsaw, arrested for domestic battery causing serious bodily injury and criminal confinement. Bond: $11,250.

• 11:20 p.m. Tuesday – Travis Michael Mrozinski, 22, of 310 N. Hickory St., North Webster, arrested for failure to appear. Bond: $583.50.

• 2:11 a.m. Tuesday – Mark Edward Thurman, 45, of 3782 W. Old 30, #90E, Warsaw, arrested for possession of meth and probation violation. Bond: $5,250.

 

Personal Injury Accident

• 5:04 p.m. Tuesday – Intersection of CRs 900S and 900W, Silver Lake. Drivers: Bonnie Hall, 73, CR 750S, Claypool; Betty Foust, 73, CR 825W, Akron. Injuries: Foust complained of pain to her chest; Barbara Hall, 49, Caldwell Lake Drive, Claypool, a passenger in Hall’s vehicle, complained of chest pain; Steven Hall, Caldwell Lake Drive, Claypool, 23, a passenger in Hall’s vehicle, complained of pain to his abdomen. Damage: $5,000 to $10,000. Kosciusko County Sheriff’s Department investigated.



Property Damage Accidents

• 6:40 a.m. Tuesday – Intersection of Ind. 15 and CR 500W, Claypool. Car struck a ditch, fence and two gates. Driver: Michael Kelly, 21, Flora. Damage: $2,500 to $5,000. KCSD.

• 4:48 p.m. Tuesday – 365 W. Market St., Warsaw. Two-vehicle collision. Drivers: Edward Rapsavage, 85, Clover Lane, Warsaw; Stephanie Guideman, 46, CR 400N, Warsaw. Damage: $1,000 to $2,000. Warsaw Police Department investigated.
