Facing off against perennial sectional opponent Penn, Warsaw volleyball began the game by firing on all cylinders. The team easily captured the first two sets before running into trouble in the form of a Kingsmen comeback. Penn would win the next three sets and eventually the match 3-2.

The Warsaw Tigers boys’ soccer side scored 26 goals in their three victories among the last eight days, the most recent a 7-0 win over the Huntington North Vikings Tuesday evening on the pitch at the Tiger Soccer Complex (TSC).

Grace College’s women’s golf team brings back a wealth of experience as it prepares to tee off the 2022-23 season.

Grace’s women’s soccer team began the 2022 campaign by collecting their first win of the year.

In an early season, non-conference matchup between two Kosciusko County girls soccer teams, it was the Lady Squires of Manchester that defeated the Warriors of Wawasee 3-0 to pick up their first win of the season. The win improves Manchester’s record to 1-1-1, while Wawasee falls to 0-2-2.

Grace College's men's soccer team used a trio of second half goals to defeat Michigan-Dearborn 4-1 on Saturday afternoon. Martim Sequeira scored a pair of goals in the Lancers' victory during Grace's season opener.

Grace College’s volleyball team concluded its season-opening weekend with its third victory at the Onset Invitational. The Lady Lancers won three out of four matches at Fort Wayne’s Memorial Coliseum. Grace fell to Lawrence Tech in the morning match on Saturday but rebounded for a five-set win against Siena Heights.

Ryan Vanpuffelen had quite a week. The Warsaw Tiger striker for the boys’ squad picked up his second hat trick this week, scoring goals at the 3-, 42-, and 54-minute mark in an 11-2 win Saturday over the East Chicago Cardinals at the Tiger Soccer Complex in a match shortened by the IHSAA Mercy rule (nine-goal margin).

Coming off of one of the best seasons in program history in 2021, the Tippecanoe Valley Vikings wasted no time picking up where they left off in a 26-0 victory over the Wawasee Warriors Friday night to open up high school football season in Kosciusko County.

Have a great time AND support the youth of our community.  That’s the opportunity that you can take advantage of when you join us Tuesday, September 20th, at Stonehenge Golf Course for the 15th annual Warsaw Breakfast Optimist Club Golf Outing.  With our community’s generosity, we have raised over $110,000 to support programs for our local youth through our annual golf outing.

The Warsaw Tigers head coach, Bart Curtis, reminded his squad at each preseason practice about the last five quarters of the 2021 season. Those five quarters were comprised of a relinquished fourth-quarter lead against Concord consequently losing the conference crown followed by a 36-0 sectional final loss to Carroll. The Tigers fell from a 7-1 won-loss record in mid-October to a 7-3 finish.

Since Bart Curtis came to town beginning with the 2018 football season, the Warsaw Tigers have been known for a certain way of doing things.

Tippecanoe Valley enjoyed one its best prep football seasons in 2021. The Vikings went 10-1 overall and 7-0 in the Three Rivers Conference. It was the best record by a Valley squad since 1983 team went 10-2.

The 2022 campaign for Grace College’s volleyball team is mere days away, and the Lady Lancers are armed with a dynamic attack for the upcoming season.

Warsaw Community High School unveiled its brand new tennis courts in a ribbon-cutting ceremony Wednesday afternoon, commemorating the year-and-a-half long process of planning and building the newest facility in the Tiger Athletic Complex.

There is plenty of optimism in the preseason football camp at Wawasee High School. Fourth-year head coach Jon Reutebuch reports that the Warriors enjoyed a “very busy, but productive summer” as the team began the run-up to the 2022 season.
