Warsaw’s (15-3-1) second season lives on following Saturday night’s Class 3A boys’ soccer sectional title shutout win, 3-0, over the Homestead Spartans at the Tiger Soccer Complex (TSC).

Cross Country, Boys & Girls Soccer, Volleyball and Football

Fisher Field was the venue Friday night where the Warsaw Tiger football seniors and a four-year manager were honored. Each senior Tiger will agree the years leading to last night passed quickly.

The Tippecanoe Valley offense was unstoppable Friday night, using 32 first downs and 528 yards of total offense to score nine touchdowns on the team’s first nine drives in a 65-19 blowout victory over Wabash in the team’s final home game of the year. The Vikings are now 8-0 this season, 7-0 in the Three Rivers Conference. The win clinches at least a share of the conference title for Tippy Valley.

Girls Soccer and Volleyball

Before the team’s regular season finale against Concord Thursday night, the Warsaw volleyball program honored its three seniors: Avery Hales, Kaylee Weeks and Delaney Silveus.

Boys Soccer, Boys Tennis and Baseball

The Warsaw Tigers boy’ soccer side extended their postseason with a 1-0 win over the Northrup Bruins in last night’s IHSAA Class 3A sectional semifinal match. The Tigers (13-3-1) advance to Saturday’s final at Tiger Soccer Complex at 7 p.m.

A pair of late goals from Grace’s men’s soccer team earned the Lancers a 2-2 draw with Spring Arbor on Saturday afternoon.

Fisher Field at the Tiger Athletic Complex (TAC) was the venue for the 2022 IHSAA Unified Flag Football (UFFB) sectionals during Saturday’s a beautiful, sunny, breezy afternoon.

The 37th annual “W” game was held at Wawasee High School Friday night between the Warriors and the Warsaw Tigers. For the 25thtime since the trophy was donated by Robert and Patricia Reiff in 1986, it would be Warsaw keeping it in their trophy case after a 36-0 win.

The Triton Trojans and the North Judson Bluejays had more on the line in this year’s Hoosier North Athletic Conference (HNAC) clash last night than they’ve had between each other since 2018. Triton entered Friday’s fray ranked #8 in the IFCA coaches’ poll, and #11 in the AP media poll. North Judson entered the contest ranked #3 in both of those polls.

The pregame energy from a standing room only crowd on hand to celebrate Hispanic Heritage Night fueled the energy in the Tiger Soccer Complex (TSC) for Northridge’s and Warsaw’s final regular season match Thursday night.

Boys Tennis, Volleyball, Boys & Girls Soccer

The Warsaw Tigers and NorthWood Panthers came into Thursday’s contest at the Tiger Den as the last two undefeated teams in the Northern Lakes Conference. The winner of the match would clinch at least a share of the NLC title with a chance to win it outright next week.

Grace College’s men’s soccer team used five second half goals to blitz by St. Francis 5-0 on Wednesday evening.
