In front of a capacity crowd at the Trojan Trench, Triton did just that, overcoming a slow start to win 44-36 and secure the HNAC.

The Tigers went up big in the second quarter and never looked back, getting revenge for last year’s defeat with a 62-50 win.
Undefeated in Three Rivers Conference play so far this season, the Manchester boys basketball team had a pivotal game against Maconaquah on Friday night. The stakes were simple: win and clinch a share of the TRC title with a chance to win it outright next week. Lose, and hope for a win on Tuesday for a share. It came down to the final minute, but the Squires were able to take home the gold with an 80-75 win.

Playing in front of a home crowd at the Tiger Den for the final time in the 2023-24 season, the Warsaw boys basketball team went out with a bang on Tuesday night, crushing Fort Wayne Northrop 74-21 to send their supporters home happy for one final time this season. The Tiger offense had it going all night long, hitting 13 threes on the night.
Grace’s men’s basketball team produced a convincing 97-61 win over Goshen on Saturday.
Playing their final Northern Lakes Conference game of the season on Friday night, the Warsaw boys basketball team needed a win over rival Plymouth to finish above .500 in the conference. For a while, it looked as if the Tigers were going to roll to victory, but the hot shooting of the Pilgrims made it tight down the stretch. In the end, Warsaw was able to hold on to a 63-56 win.
There are a combined 1,304 schools that play college basketball across the NCAA Divisions I through III as well as the NAIA. If you’re looking for a team on that long list that also has a zero in the loss column, it shrinks down to just one. Luckily for Kosciusko County hoops fans, that team plays right here in Winona Lake.

This Saturday, the Warsaw Track and Field Programs will be hosting their ‘Warsaw Tiger Showcase’ indoor track and field meet for the 2024 season. The excitement and buzz from across the state has been ratcheted up quite a bit as elite fields of competitors across multiple events have been assembled to participate.
The 2023-24 version of the Manchester boys basketball team has gotten used to two things this season: winning and winning big. The Squires were able to accomplish both of those things once again on Tuesday night, as the team dismantled Bluffton in a 76-37 victory at home, its eighth in a row.
Going for their second sectional championship in a row, the Tippecanoe Valley girls basketball team found itself in a tough position as the fourth quarter of IHSAA 3A Sectional 18’s championship game against Bremen. Trailing by 12 points, Valley was able to fight back to tie the game and force overtime. In the end, Bremen would make the final shot, ending the Lady Vikings’ season with a 55-53 win.
Grace’s perfect season continued on Saturday with an 84-67 victory at Spring Arbor on Saturday.
Despite not sharing a conference, the Tippecanoe Valley and Rochester girls basketball teams were able to renew their rivalry earlier this season, with the Lady Vikings coming out on top with a 28-point win. The two teams met for the second time this season on Friday night with the stakes a lot higher: a spot in the IHSAA 3A Sectional championship game. The contest was nothing like the first, coming down to the final shot after an incredibly tight game. In the end, Valley was able to escape with a 43-40 victory.
The Grace College baseball program is poised to get the 2024 season underway. After recording the most conference wins and tying the record for overall wins, sixth-year head coach Ryan Roth and his squad look to build on that success.
Enjoying a fantastic start to the season, the Whitko boys basketball team set their sights on North Miami Thursday night in a home game that had the potential to improve the Wildcats’ Three Rivers Conference record. Taking care of business from the opening tip onwards, Whitko was able to cruise to a 67-37 win.
