HUNTINGTON – The Grace College women’s basketball team continued its climb up the Crossroads League standings with a 77-62 win at Huntington University.
Warsaw senior boys golfer Sam Yeager signed his letter of intent to play golf at Taylor University.
The Warsaw girls gymnastics team competed against Marion, North Miami and Peru Wednesday night. The Lady Tigers scored 96 points, winning the event.

BENTON – To say that Tippecanoe Valley’s players, coaches and fans went through a roller coaster of emotions Tuesday night would be an understatement.
GOSHEN – The Lakeland Christian Academy Lady Cougars will continue their season, as they defeated Bethany Christian 39-34 in an overtime contest Tuesday night.
ALBION – The Whitko Lady Wildcats lost 59-52 in overtime to Prairie Heights in the first round of the 2A Central Noble Sectional.
HUNTINGTON – The Grace College men’s basketball team came up just shy in a comeback at Huntington University on Tuesday. The Lancers, who trailed by 18 with 9:06 left to play, rallied to within three before losing 88-80.
As I was driving home from the Tiger Den Saturday night, having just broadcast the Warsaw Tigers’ seventh straight win, I was trying to find new ways to express just what a dramatic turnaround has occurred for the boys team that calls 1 Tiger Lane home.
SYRACUSE – The Wawasee boys swimming team won 141-39 over East Noble Tuesday night in a non-conference meet. Wawasee won every event.
The Edgewood eighth grade boys basketball team won the NELMSC championship tournament.
The Edgewood seventh grade boys basketball team won the NELMSC, winning 38-19 over Wawasee.

NORTH MANCHESTER – Over the course of the current season, one high school girls swimmer has set seven school records.
AKRON – In the motion picture Forest Gump, Tom Hanks’ fictional character claims you can learn a lot about someone by their shoes. Tippecanoe Valley High School junior Sophie Bussard’s shoes certainly say a lot about her.
Officially, it’s known as Class 4A Sectional 4.
AKRON – The Tippecanoe Valley Lady Vikings have won three straight sectional titles. They are 19-3 this season and ranked in the top 10 in the state in Class 3A.
NORTH MANCHESTER – Drawing a bye into the semifinals of Class 2A Sectional 37 at Oak Hill High School, the Manchester Lady Squires don’t know who they’ll play Friday night.
SYRACUSE – The Wawasee Lady Warriors are hoping to win their first sectional title since 2011. In order to do that, they may face have to face two ranked opponents in Class 3A Sectional 21 at Fairfield High School.
SOUTH WHITLEY – Whitko coach Rick Bragg won’t say the return of junior Emalee Duggins will make the Lady Wildcats a sectional contender, but she does make her team better.
